Are you an attorney with an active State Bar of Wisconsin license but living out of state? Are you a recent graduate from a Wisconsin law school looking for immediate remote flexibility, or a solo practitioner seeking to expand your practice via co-counsel opportunities?
\ NZimmer & Rens LLC is expanding! With physical hubs in Brookfield and La Crosse, we provide comprehensive transactional and litigation services throughout the state of Wisconsin. We are seeking talented Wisconsin-licensed attorneys to join us remotely—whether you are down the street, across the country, or looking to "boomerang" back to WI law.
\ NWe Are Looking For:
\ N The Co-Counsel / Of Counsel Partner: Established or solo attorneys interested in a predictable, compliant fee-splitting model (Wisconsin SCR 20:1.5(e)) to handle overflow transactional or litigation cases.
\ N What You Will Do
\ N Manage a dynamic caseload across your preferred practice areas (Probate, Estate Planning, Business, Real Estate, or Litigation).
\ N Draft complex legal documents, pleadings, and transactional structures with high tech efficiency.
\ N Collaborate remotely with our robust support teams based in Brookfield and La Crosse.
\ N Provide exceptional service and advocacy to clients throughout the state of Wisconsin.
\ N Position Requirements
\ N Licensure: Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Wisconsin (Mandatory).
\ N Experience: Open to all levels—from brilliant recent graduates to seasoned transactional/trial attorneys.
\ N Tech Literacy: Must be comfortable working in a modern, paperless environment. Experience with legal practice management software is preferred. Smokeball is a plus.
\ N Location: 100% Remote-friendly, provided you can work within standard Central Time Zone business hours.
