Remote Commercial Clearance Officer
Seeking an experienced Remote Commercial Clearance Officer.
A prominent full-service Settlement & Escrow Company is expanding and hiring a Commercial Clearance Officer.
The Commercial Clearance Officer will be responsible for overseeing the timely close of commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and 2-5 years of relevant experience in the title industry.
Qualifications
High school diploma, required. Bachelor's degree, preferred.
2-5 years commercial title industry experience. NJ, NY, and/or PA experience required.
Computer experience, including Microsoft Office suite. Microsoft Teams a plus.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Regular communication with Attorneys, Banks, Developers, and Underwriters,
Prepare Pro Formas, endorsements, title policies,
Review of LLC documents, Corporation Documents, and Partnership documents,
Review of Trusts,
Review of Estate documents,
Review and preparation of Affidavits,
Use expertise and knowledge to resolve title commitment requirements that the Clearance team is not authorized to handle,
Address all client requests, and parties associated with the transition, in a timely manner,
Seek referral business to expand your book of business,
Provide coverage to fellow team members as needed.
