As an LCPC, you will play a vital role in helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges and achieve their personal goals.

About the Organization

Dorchester Counseling Center is recognized as one of the fastest-growing behavioral health practice groups in the United States, headquartered in Orland Park, Illinois. Our mission revolves around unifying mental and physical healthcare, ensuring that individuals have access to comprehensive and personalized mental health services. We believe that mental well-being is integral to overall health and strive to support our clients in leading healthier, more fulfilling lives.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality mental health care. Our collaborative culture encourages open communication, continuous learning, and professional development while utilizing leading-edge technology to deliver effective treatment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individualized therapy strategies based on comprehensive evaluations of clients' needs and challenges.

Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to various demographics—individuals, couples, families, and groups—to enhance their mental health outcomes.

Employ a diverse range of therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's unique situation, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused techniques.

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists to ensure a holistic approach to each client's care.

Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality and safety.

Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops, webinars, and training sessions, to keep abreast of the latest mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse client base, including adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will help empower clients to build coping strategies, tackle obstacles, and improve their mental wellness through effective therapeutic practices.

Qualifications

A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably within a clinical context.

Preferred Experience

Specialization in specific areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred, although not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, complemented by performance bonuses. You will also enjoy access to comprehensive health benefits, including dental and vision insurance, malpractice insurance, and a manageable caseload reflective of your experience and availability.
