Our organization is committed to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment where our clinical staff can thrive professionally and impact the lives of those we serve.

About the Organization

At Bright Path Psychotherapy, we specialize in outpatient therapy that addresses trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. With a focus on trauma-informed care, we aim to empower our diverse clientele through personalized treatment approaches. Our team is composed of skilled professionals who work together to create a holistic, supportive environment conducive to healing and recovery.

Work Environment

This position allows for a fully remote work experience, which offers flexibility in creating your own hours to balance your professional and personal life. Our remote setting is bolstered by the use of telehealth platforms that enhance our ability to deliver high-quality care to clients while fostering team collaboration via regular virtual meetings and case discussions.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed assessments of client needs and create individualized treatment plans that reflect best practices and evidence-based interventions.

Utilize solution-focused therapy techniques and cognitive-behavioral methodologies to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.

Document all client interactions and treatment progress meticulously to ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and agency standards.

Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to collaborate with other healthcare professionals, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive care.

Provide education and support to clients and families concerning coping strategies, available resources, and the therapeutic process.

Stay abreast of the latest research, literature, and best practices in mental health to continuously enhance skills and service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with adults experiencing mental health challenges, often exacerbated by substance use disorders. Our clients may come from various backgrounds, and we aim to create an inclusive and understanding atmosphere that respects their unique journeys toward recovery. Your role as an LCSW is crucial in helping clients navigate their emotions, foster resilience, and develop sustainable coping mechanisms.

Qualifications

Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

A valid LCSW license in the state of New York.

Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably with detox or rehabilitation populations.

Proficiency in conducting assessments and delivering individualized therapy, particularly in trauma-informed care.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration with clients and team members.

Strong analytical skills to effectively evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans when necessary.

A team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Experience

Experience using telehealth technologies to deliver therapy sessions.

Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing mental health practices, including HIPAA compliance.

Background in working within detox or substance use recovery programs.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Life and disability insurance coverage.

Professional liability and malpractice insurance.

Access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for additional mental health support.

Unlimited referrals for clients, which allows for a fulfilling and diverse caseload.

Minimal paperwork to facilitate more time spent with clients and less on administrative duties.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Bright Path Psychotherapy, we believe in the continuous professional development of our team members. We offer access to training programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities that allow for career advancement within the organization. We encourage our LCSWs to pursue specialized certifications and skills that align with their professional interests, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
