Apex Serenity Medical Clinic is actively searching for a dedicated and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. Work Environment
This LCSW position is designed to be remote, allowing for flexible working conditions while maintaining a school-centered focus. You will collaborate virtually with educational staff, parents, and community organizations to foster a supportive environment for the students you serve. Key Responsibilities
Engage with clients directly through virtual consultations, conducting assessments for individuals experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses and emotional disorders inside school settings.
Develop, implement, and monitor integrated care plans that address mental health needs and academic challenges, ensuring service accessibility for students and their families.
Conduct evidence-based, developmentally appropriate screenings and refer clients to resources or additional support as deemed necessary.
Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions to enhance mental wellness and address presenting issues effectively.
Assist students in crisis situations, providing timely interventions that help stabilize their emotional state and promote safety.
Collaborate with educators and school staff to advocate for students’ well-being, promoting educational success through mental health support.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational standards.
Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance personal skills and contribute to organizational goals.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will work primarily with children and adolescents, providing mental health support tailored to their unique needs. The diverse client population includes students from various backgrounds, many of whom face challenges such as anxiety, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your sensitivity to cultural differences and commitment to fostering an inclusive environment will be crucial in establishing trust and rapport with clients and families.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field is required.
A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification is mandatory.
At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably working with children or in a school environment.
Strong understanding of mental health issues affecting youth, along with experience in evidence-based practices for treatment.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Experience
Experience using telehealth platforms and remote therapeutic methodologies.
Familiarity with Integrated Care Models and collaboration with educational systems.
Experience with community outreach and engagement strategies.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
