Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of clients to determine their mental health needs and create personalized, actionable treatment plans.
Utilize evidence-based psychotherapy interventions tailored to each individual;
for example, incorporating cognitive-behavioral techniques to address clients' specific symptoms.
Maintain detailed, accurate clinical records of client interactions while adhering to confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with a dedicated treatment team, including psychiatrists and behavioral health specialists, to provide unified and comprehensive care.
Educate and support patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.
Stay informed on developments in mental health research and treatment methodologies to enhance clinical practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our clientele comprises individuals coping with trauma, anxiety, depression, and various substance use issues. You will primarily engage with patients who are in crisis or seeking recovery through our Detox Center, requiring a compassionate and skilled approach to facilitate their healing journey.
Qualifications
A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
Possession of a valid LCSW license in the state of Illinois.
A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience working with mental health patients.
Proficiency in implementing solution-focused psychotherapy interventions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster cooperative relationships within the treatment team and with clients.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity for critical thinking in clinical scenarios.
A demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Preferred Experience
Experience in substance use disorder treatment and recovery services.
Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and practices.
Background in developing and facilitating group therapy sessions.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation purposes.
Compensation and Benefits
