Work Environment
In this remote role, you will be part of a progressive outpatient mental health setting that connects with local schools. Our team utilizes the latest technology to provide teletherapy and maintain robust connections among team members and educators. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand students’ emotional and psychological needs and design individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based intervention strategies.
Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, tailored to address the unique challenges faced by each student.
Document all clinical encounters meticulously in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring timely updates to patient records and maintaining confidentiality.
Engage in collaborative care with multidisciplinary teams, which include school personnel and mental health professionals, to coordinate and optimize service delivery for each student.
Participate in interdisciplinary case consultations and supervision that enrich professional development and improve the quality of therapeutic interventions offered.
Provide guidance and psychoeducation to students and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources available to them.
Stay informed about the latest trends and research in mental health to continuously enhance your practice and the outcomes for your clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus
This role centers on a diverse student population ranging from elementary to high school students, facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating your expertise in the field.
A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in New Jersey, showcasing your commitment to professional standards and excellence.
At least three years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in providing psychotherapy services to children and adolescents.
Strong knowledge of solution-based interventions and the application of best practices in therapy.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective rapport-building with students, families, and colleagues.
Robust problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to assess and respond to the dynamic needs of students effectively.

Preferred Experience
Experience working within a school or educational environment, preferably offering direct therapeutic services to students.
Familiarity with telehealth practices and remote service delivery.
