Work Environment
This position is fully remote, which offers you the flexibility to manage your own schedule while maintaining a strong connection with clients from the comfort of your home office. However, you will also have the opportunity to work at our outpatient office in Jersey City as needed, providing a hybrid experience that enhances collaboration with our multidisciplinary teams and allows for face-to-face interaction with colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of clients' mental and emotional health, employing evidence-based practices to inform treatment decisions.
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client, incorporating their feedback and assessment results.
Facilitate individual therapy sessions for clients of various ages, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
Lead couples therapy sessions aimed at improving communication, conflict resolution, and emotional connection between partners.
Regularly monitor and adjust treatment plans based on clients' progress, ensuring that their evolving needs are met throughout their therapeutic journey.
Maintain detailed and accurate client documentation, including progress notes and treatment histories, in compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, providing holistic treatment options that consider both mental and physical health.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base across varying demographics, improving emotional wellness for individuals and families alike. You will have the chance to engage meaningfully with children, adolescents, and adults, addressing issues that span from everyday stressors to significant life challenges. Your role will be crucial in helping clients transform their lives through improved mental health.
Qualifications
A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is required.
Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board of New Jersey.
Strong foundational experience in providing both individual and couples therapy.
Ability to work effectively with clients of all ages, with a focus on fostering therapeutic relationships that lead to personal growth.
Proficiency in completing client assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely manner.
Exceptional communication and writing skills, with a strong comfort level in using electronic health record systems.
Preferred Experience
Prior experience in a clinical setting with evidence-based therapeutic methodologies.
Experience working within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices for remote therapy delivery.
Compensation and Benefits
