Position Overview
Life Escape Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in providing compassionate mental health care to individuals and families. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health issues and identify appropriate treatment options tailored to individual needs.
Design and implement customized therapy programs that align with each client's goals while utilizing evidence-based practices.
Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging a safe space for clients to engage in their healing journey.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, exchanging insights and collaborative care strategies to ensure well-rounded support for clients.
Educate and empower clients' family members, helping them understand and support their loved ones through the therapeutic process.
Maintain meticulous and confidential case records in accordance with regulatory guidelines and ethical standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As an LMFT at Life Escape Counseling Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client population, including individuals and families facing a variety of challenges such as relationship conflicts, communication barriers, and life transitions. Your expertise will allow you to address complex family dynamics, offering specialized support that is critical to enhancing relationships and fostering resilience.
Qualifications
Active and valid state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from varied backgrounds.
Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental approach to client experiences, creating an environment conducive to open discussions.
Strong organizational skills, enabling efficient management of caseloads while adhering to deadlines and administrative tasks.
Preferred Experience
Experience in working with trauma-informed care principles, particularly in marriage and family therapy settings.
Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health therapy, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
Proven ability to engage effectively in telehealth environments, utilizing technology to deliver therapy.
