Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Conducting thorough assessments of adult clients to identify mental health needs, utilizing standardized tools and clinical judgment.
Engaging in continuous education and professional development activities to keep informed of the latest trends and methodologies in mental health counseling.
Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each patient, promoting self-exploration and personal growth.
Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, setting actionable goals in collaboration with clients.
Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
Providing crisis intervention and support during critical situations to ensure patient safety and well-being.
Maintaining accurate and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Participating in team meetings and Huddles to share insights and contribute to a collaborative approach to client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily focus on adult clients across diverse backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and stories. Your empathetic approach will empower clients to address their mental health concerns, facilitating a supportive space for growth and healing.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent.
Active registration with the relevant professional body and appropriate professional liability insurance.
A strong commitment to maintaining high standards of ethics and professional conduct.
Proficiency in assessment administration, scoring, and writing reports for adult clients.
Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member.
Preferred Experience
Ideal candidates will also possess:
Experience working with various therapeutic modalities, particularly cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions efficiently.
Strong communication skills to effectively build rapport with clients and communicate within a team.
Prior experience in crisis intervention or similar roles is highly regarded.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000 annually, depending on your expertise and hours worked. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
