Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to accurately gauge clients' mental health status and establish appropriate treatment needs.
Design and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's goals, drawing on a variety of therapeutic approaches.
Deliver individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based and solution-focused techniques to enhance client outcomes.
Utilize teletherapy tools to connect with clients effectively, ensuring the delivery of seamless virtual therapy experiences.
Engage in crisis intervention as needed, addressing acute client needs and ensuring safety and stabilization.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest mental health practices and regulatory standards, ensuring superior client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will primarily be working with adult clients from diverse backgrounds facing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma recovery. Our clinic emphasizes a client-centered approach, allowing therapists the autonomy to choose the modalities that resonate best with their therapeutic style and the needs of their clients, whether that be Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or other evidence-based methods.
Qualifications
A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.
A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively handle a caseload and maintain accurate records.
Preferred Experience
While not mandatory, experience in telehealth counseling and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems can enhance your effectiveness in this role. Those who have worked in community health settings or have exposure to diverse client populations will find themselves well-prepared.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000 based on your caseload and demonstrated experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
