Compassion Mind Counseling Solutions is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team based in Orlando, Florida. Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans focusing on pre-crisis and crisis interventions, which may include behavioral guidelines and positive behavior plans.
Maintain compliant documentation according to regulatory standards while ensuring timely completion of all required paperwork.
Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies to assess the mental health needs of clients.
Collaborate with our interdisciplinary clinical team to develop and implement effective positive behavior support plans tailored to each patient.
Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring that our services continually meet high standards of care.
Serve as a liaison between patients, their families, and relevant state agencies, as well as community partners, to streamline access to services.
Foster open communication channels with stakeholders to enhance the agency’s mission and meet contractual obligations.
Build and sustain relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to strengthen community programs and explore potential partnerships and funding opportunities.
Engage in personal and professional development by attending training sessions, conferences, and representing the agency in various meetings and forums.
Embrace and promote the organization’s mission, values, and philosophy throughout the community.
Undertake other related tasks as assigned by the Clinic Director.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our mental health counselors work with diverse populations, including individuals coping with emotional distress, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities. We prioritize a compassionate, individualized approach to treatment designed to restore hope, enhance well-being, and empower our clients to lead fulfilling lives within their communities.
Qualifications
A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
A valid Independent LMHC License is necessary to provide counseling services.
Preferred Experience
Experience working in outpatient settings is advantageous.
Familiarity with evidence-based practices and treatment modalities.
Demonstrable experience in clinical documentation and compliance standards.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive salary, we offer:
