Key Responsibilities
Deliver virtual therapy sessions for individuals, couples, or families using secure and HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms.
Conduct thorough initial assessments and determine personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
Utilize evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness techniques, and trauma-informed care in your therapeutic approach.
Participate in optional virtual team meetings for professional development, peer consultation, and case discussions to enhance best practices in mental health care.
Adhere to professional and ethical standards established by the Pennsylvania State Board for LPCs, ensuring client confidentiality and safety.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our diverse clientele includes individuals experiencing a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. As a Remote LPC, you will have the opportunity to work with clients from varied backgrounds, tailoring your therapeutic approaches to meet their specific cultural and emotional needs.
Qualifications
Must hold a valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
Demonstrated proficiency in delivering mental health therapy through telehealth platforms or a willingness to receive training is essential.
Strong self-organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting are critical for success in this role.
Knowledge and application of evidence-based therapeutic modalities is crucial.
A commitment to inclusive, client-centered, and ethical clinical practices will be expected.
Preferred Experience
A minimum of 2 years of direct counseling experience is required.
Experience working with diverse populations, including but not limited to various cultural, socioeconomic, and age groups.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth technologies is desirable.
Compensation and Benefits
Fontana Psychological Services Inc. offers competitive compensation ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 per year, alongside a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.
