Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
Conduct intake assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy, to aid clients in achieving their mental health goals.
Provide ongoing therapy sessions via secure video chat, messaging, or audio communication, ensuring accessibility and comfort for clients.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in case management discussions to optimize client care.
Engage in continuous professional development activities and participate in supervision as required.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a licensed Mental Health Counselor/Therapist at Talkspace, you will work with a diverse population of clients. You will engage with individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients appreciate the flexibility and anonymity of remote therapy, which often leads to increased access to necessary mental health resources.
Qualifications
A valid, independent, state-board-approved clinical license (e.G., LPC, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) is required.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
Possession of a professional malpractice liability insurance policy tailored to individual practice.
Familiarity with establishing a National Provider Identifier (NPI) and completion of a CAQH application is necessary.
Must reside within the USA and maintain active communication availability.
Preferred Experience
Experience working in a remote environment, especially in providing telehealth services, is highly desirable.
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
Prior history of working with a varied demographic clientele and familiarity with cultural competence in therapy.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, therapists have the opportunity to earn a monthly client engagement bonus of up to $4,000, rewarding your dedication to enhancing client relationships and engagement.
