Position Overview
The Family Insight Counseling Center is excited to announce openings for Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) in a fully remote setting. As a key member of our mental health team, you will be responsible for delivering expert therapeutic interventions and support, specifically designed to enhance the mental health and overall well-being of our diverse clientele. Our goal is to foster a supportive and integrative therapeutic environment that prioritizes client outcomes through tailored treatment approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and somatic techniques.

Work Environment
This role is completely remote, allowing you to create a flexible and comfortable work environment. As part of our Telehealth facility, you will engage with clients through a secure virtual platform, maintaining the same level of professionalism and care as would be offered in an in-person setting. Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial assessments to gather comprehensive background information from clients, establishing trust and rapport.
Evaluate client emotional and mental health status, crafting individualized treatment plans that address specific needs and goals.
Engage clients in therapeutic conversations, using active listening techniques and probing questions that help them reflect on their thoughts and feelings.
Implement crisis intervention strategies and safety protocols for clients in acute distress, ensuring their health and safety.
Facilitate therapeutic exercises, including role-playing scenarios, to assist clients in skill-building and emotional processing.
Offer guidance and support for clients on topics that are pertinent to their mental health journey, such as coping mechanisms and lifestyle changes.
Collaborate with clients regarding additional therapeutic services or referrals as needed, creating a holistic plan for their care.
Maintain accurate and confidential records, documenting treatment progress and outcomes in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will work with a varied population, including children, adolescents, and adults, addressing diverse mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance misuse. Our client base comprises individuals from a range of backgrounds and experiences, giving you the opportunity to provide tailored therapy that honors their unique narratives and needs. Qualifications
A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
A current and unrestricted state Professional Counselor (LPC) license is mandatory.
A minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling, preferably in a mental health or therapeutic setting.
Preferred Experience
We highly encourage candidates with specialized experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling to apply. A solid understanding of clinical best practices and a commitment to ethical counseling is crucial. Candidates should also be familiar with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to support efficient client management.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000, contingent upon experience and workload.
