Work Environment
This role is set in an outpatient office, although our counselors have the flexibility to work remotely, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. Our outpatient setting is designed to support clients on an appointment basis, ensuring that counselors can create flexible schedules that accommodate individual client needs. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations to formulate personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique challenges.
Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing effective communication and rapport-building techniques to promote engagement.
Employ a diverse array of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, ensuring a tailored approach for each client.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide holistic care for all clients and create interdisciplinary treatment plans.
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation that comply with ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring the protection of client confidentiality and data integrity.
Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in mental health by participating in workshops and professional development opportunities, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia, demonstrating compliance with all state regulations.
A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing counseling services, with a preference for experience in an outpatient or clinical setting.
Preferred Experience
Demonstrated proficiency in various therapeutic modalities, especially in working with specific populations such as children, adolescents, or trauma survivors.
Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to improve client outcomes.
Prior involvement in community outreach or mental health advocacy initiatives is an asset.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 300,000 to 400,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
