Position Overview
Crossroads Counseling Center is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team. This full-time position is designed for a compassionate professional who will lead transformative counseling and psychotherapeutic interventions tailored to individual client needs. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and obstacles to recovery.
Develop tailored treatment regimens that respect client individuality and incorporate evidence-based practices.
Regularly reassess the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize outcomes.
Utilize talk therapy techniques to address clients' concerns, modeling effective and sustainable coping strategies.
Encourage clients to engage in constructive self-reflection and foster healthier interpersonal relationships.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to all HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The LPC will serve a diverse client base facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our approach is client-centered, focusing on the individual’s unique experiences and goals. By emphasizing cultural competence, the licensed professional counselor can build trusting relationships with clients, ensuring that their care is relevant and effective.
Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Current state licensure as a Professional Counselor in New Jersey.
Demonstrated professional experience and proficiency as a licensed counselor.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong community orientation and commitment to culturally congruent treatment approaches.
Preferred Experience
Familiarity with telehealth practices and virtual counseling tools.
Experience in delivering services to diverse populations, particularly in urban settings.
Proficiency in additional languages to better serve a multilingual client base.
A proven track record of addressing complex client needs in an outpatient environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, with opportunities for a sign-on bonus based on qualifications.
