Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement personalized therapeutic interventions based on individual client needs, ensuring effective methods are utilized for optimal outcomes.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations, gaining insights into each client’s goals, challenges, and mental health history.
Provide evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to enhance the quality of care provided to clients, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to high-quality client care.
Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training, staying up-to-date with the latest mental health research and methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The clients you will work with range widely, including those facing issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. Many clients may have limited access to traditional in-person services, making your role critical in enhancing their access to mental health support. You will be a valuable resource for underserved communities and individuals seeking guidance and therapy during challenging times.
Qualifications
A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is mandatory for this role.
Candidates must possess active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.
A minimum of two years of counseling experience is required, ideally within a clinical setup, to ensure you are well-prepared for the complexities of client needs.
Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and a strong understanding of legal and ethical standards are crucial for successful practice.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering strong rapport with a diverse clientele, are essential for effective therapy.
Preferred Experience
Specialization in specific therapy areas such as family dynamics, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use issues is highly preferred and valued within our team.
Proven experience working collaboratively with healthcare providers or within a multidisciplinary team is an asset.
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies will aid in the efficient management of client documentation.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with your experience and caseload.
