Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities in this role will include:
Maintaining a manageable caseload of young clients, establishing rapport, and fostering trusting relationships while adhering to professional ethical standards.
Conducting regular check-ins to monitor client progress, stability, and adherence to scheduled appointments.
Creating, implementing, and overseeing personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client.
Keeping accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes, treatment adjustments, and client histories.
Performing comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate new clients and determine treatment direction.
Facilitating one-on-one therapy sessions tailored to the individual needs of each client, focusing on effective intervention strategies.
Engaging in consistent individual supervision to enhance personal and professional growth.
Collaborating regularly with other healthcare providers to ensure integrated and effective treatment plans.
Embracing a growth mindset and remaining committed to continual professional development.
Patient Population / Client Focus
This position will emphasize serving youth populations, providing therapeutic interventions to address a range of mental health challenges. You will work with adolescents and young adults dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and adjustment difficulties. Your experience and dedication will play a crucial role in facilitating positive changes in the lives of young individuals, helping them to navigate life’s challenges effectively.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
Active LPC licensure in New Jersey
Proven ability to fulfill credentialing requirements for clinical practice
Preferred Experience
We prefer candidates who possess:
A minimum of one year of experience working with youth populations, particularly in psychiatric or substance abuse settings
Prior involvement in assessment, diagnosis, and delivery of individual and group therapy
Competent use of telehealth modalities and associated technology
Strong documentation skills coupled with basic computer proficiency
Compensation and Benefits
