Job Description
We are seeking a Senior IT Manager, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Applications to lead the strategy, governance, and delivery of our Dynamics 365 platform supporting critical business operations across Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, and Customer Experience functions. This role is primarily focused on business process leadership, stakeholder management, and application ownership, serving as the bridge between business teams and technology organizations. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 capabilities, experience leading enterprise application teams, and a proven track record supporting ERP transformations and large-scale digital initiatives. The Senior IT Manager will partner closely with business leaders, product owners, architects, and delivery teams to drive adoption of standardized processes, ensure scalable solutions, and deliver business value through the effective use of Dynamics 365. Key Responsibilities Business Application Ownership Own and manage the Dynamics 365 platform roadmap, enhancements, and operational support model. Act as the primary IT partner for business stakeholders across Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, and other key functions. Drive alignment between business objectives and technology solutions. Establish application governance, prioritization processes, and release management practices. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, automation, and user experience. Business Process Leadership Partner with business leaders to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities for process improvement. Facilitate requirements gathering, process design workshops, and solution planning sessions. Promote standardization and simplification of business processes across business units and regions. Translate business requirements into functional specifications and implementation roadmaps. Ensure solutions align with organizational goals while leveraging Dynamics 365 best practices. Dynamics 365 Platform Management Lead the functional management of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related business applications. Drive utilization of Dynamics 365 out-of-the-box capabilities while minimizing unnecessary customization. Partner with technical teams to evaluate enhancement requests and solution designs. Oversee platform upgrades, releases, integrations, and application lifecycle management activities. Ensure long-term scalability, maintainability, and business alignment of the platform. Leadership & Team Development Manage and mentor application analysts, business systems teams, external partners, and system integrators. Provide strategic direction and priorities for technical delivery teams. Foster collaboration between business stakeholders, architects, developers, and support teams. Lead resource planning, budgeting, and vendor management activities. Build a high-performing team culture focused on customer service, execution, and continuous improvement. ERP & Digital Transformation Support enterprise ERP modernization and digital transformation initiatives. Ensure business applications align with broader enterprise architecture and technology strategies. Coordinate delivery efforts across multiple workstreams, including integrations, data, testing, and change management. Drive successful execution of strategic initiatives from planning through deployment and adoption. Governance & Operational Excellence Establish governance processes for application changes, configurations, and business rules. Ensure compliance with audit, security, risk, and regulatory requirements. Monitor application performance, adoption metrics, service levels, and key operational KPIs. Oversee production support processes, incident management, and problem resolution activities.
