Key Responsibilities
Conduct mental health counseling sessions with clients via phone, video chat, or in-app messaging.
Engage with clients during 30- or 45-minute sessions while addressing various mental health issues, ensuring you provide tailored support.
Utilize our intuitive platform to monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, minimizing the need for out-of-session paperwork.
Collaborate with a network of mental health professionals, sharing insights and best practices to enhance client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be on clients who are stable and exhibit low acuity conditions, which allows for a more manageable and effective care model. You will have the liberty to select from three client demographics—including those dealing with ADHD, OCD, grief, weight disorders, and relationship issues—ensuring you can work within your area of expertise and preference. Our platform ensures that clients are screened, matching their needs with your qualifications and helping you build a fulfilling therapeutic relationship.
Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
A valid independent mental healthcare provider license in the state of New Jersey, with a clean disciplinary record.
Proficiency in using digital tools, including a computer or laptop and reliable internet connection (tablet devices are not permitted).
Preferred Experience
While not mandatory, experience in telehealth counseling, familiarity with HIPAA compliance, and a background in addressing the mental health needs of diverse populations can enhance your application. We value applicants who have a track record of successfully improving client outcomes through innovative therapeutic techniques or community outreach initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits
This role offers an attractive salary range of USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, contingent upon the hours worked and level of experience. In addition to competitive pay, full-time therapists will also receive a substantial signing bonus, a monthly healthcare stipend, and weekly direct deposit for a seamless financial experience. Flexible scheduling options are available to accommodate both full-time and part-time positions, promoting a balanced work-life dynamic.
