Work Environment
This is a fully remote position, enabling you to work from the comfort of your home. Our operational model emphasizes flexibility, offering both full-time (30+ hours/week) and part-time (5+ hours/week) schedules. Key Responsibilities
Conduct ethical and effective virtual counseling sessions via video chat, fostering a safe space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.
Perform ongoing assessments to understand client needs and develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique mental health challenges.
Guide clients in cultivating new coping mechanisms, enhancing problem-solving capabilities, and improving communication skills through tailored exercises and discussions.
Document client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that care is responsive to changing needs and fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss case progress, share insights, and collaboratively refine therapeutic approaches.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your focus will be primarily on stable, low-acuity adult clients who are seeking support for manageable mental health issues. This role allows you to make a significant impact on clients' lives by helping them navigate their challenges and achieve their personal goals.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees such as a Master’s in Social Work or counseling are preferred.
Possession of a valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD is essential.
Independent licensure that allows for unsupervised practice is required, demonstrating your capability to manage client care autonomously.
Proven track record free of disciplinary actions, showcasing your commitment to ethical practice and client welfare.
Exceptional interpersonal skills combined with proficiency in digital communication tools to effectively engage with clients.
A reliable and stable Wi-Fi connection to ensure seamless counseling sessions.
Preferred Experience
Experience in a telehealth or remote counseling setting is advantageous, as it provides a foundation for understanding virtual client interactions.
Familiarity with utilizing counseling platforms and electronic health records to streamline documentation and communication.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing innovative treatment strategies tailored to diverse client needs.
Compensation and Benefits
