Job description
Duties:
Design and implement computer vision and NLP algorithms to automate the processing of business documents.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure that our solutions are scalable, efficient, and effective.
Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and insights that drive business decisions.
Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in computer vision and NLP research, and incorporate new techniques into our solutions as appropriate.
Communicate technical concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Mentor and guide junior data scientists on the team (no direct reports).
Build and deploy systems for automating business processes.
Telecommuting permitted.
Requirements:
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field and 3 years of experience in a data science related occupation, with a focus on NLP.
Requires 2 years of experience with all of the following skills:
Python and related data science libraries including Pandas, NumPy, Sklearn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Core-NLP, and Gensim; big data frameworks such as Hadoop and Spark; cloud-based technologies, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure; common NLP algorithms including CRF, BiLSTM, and transformers; generating IP in the form of patents and publications; developing high performance named entity recognition algorithms for the purpose of extracting key information from business documents; and working with large datasets and using SQL and NoSQL databases.
Salary: $150,000 per year
