Job description

Total Communication Therapy is hiring a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a full-time and part-time school-based position.

nWe are a speech therapy private practice owned and operated by a certified speech-language pathologist. We are seeking to further expand the Total Communication Therapy team.

nBuilt-In Support for New and Experienced Clinicians- Access to mentorship, ongoing CEUs, and experienced colleagues.

nSkill Qualifications

nThorough knowledge of the Individual with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) due process requirements

nThorough knowledge and skills in conducting/interpreting comprehensive speech/language evaluations; thorough knowledge and skills in providing speech/language therapy services

nAbility to communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents regarding evaluations, treatments, and further resources

nAbility to work collaboratively with other staff members to plan and deliver speech-language services.

nPrimary Responsibilities:

nScreen, evaluate, and provide speech-language therapy for students with identified speech-language impairments.

nEducation Qualifications:

nMaster's degree in speech language pathology required

nRequirements

nValid Georgia state licensure at the time of interview and CCC's.

nExperience with virtual speech therapy techniques and assessment tools.

nAt least 1 year of virtual school experience

nExcellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and colleagues.

nAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

nPassion for helping individuals improve their communication skills and overall quality of life.

nMust be available to travel to Atlanta to the district for fingerprinting prior to start date.
