Key Responsibilities
Conduct therapy sessions via secure video chat, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for clients to express their thoughts and emotions.
Encourage open dialogue by supporting clients in discussing their experiences and feelings, facilitating a trusting therapeutic relationship.
Assist clients in establishing and achieving their mental health goals through personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
Monitor client progress, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary to enhance individual recovery experiences.
Educate clients on effective coping strategies and healthy behavioral techniques to manage stress and emotional challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be on stable adults who seek mental health services through our teletherapy platform. Our screening process ensures that all clients are low acuity, allowing you to engage with individuals who are motivated to improve their mental health without experiencing severe crises. This targeted approach enables you to provide customized care that aligns with your specialties and interests.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology required.
Must possess a current and unrestricted license to practice independently in New York, including:
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Licensed Psychoanalyst
Psychologist
Effective communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities are essential.
Proficiency with digital communication tools and platforms to manage online therapy sessions.
Preferred Experience
Prior experience in telehealth or remote therapy settings is preferred but not required.
Experience working with adult populations and understanding of various therapeutic modalities.
Ability to handle a caseload independently while ensuring high-quality care and client satisfaction.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. As a team member, you will also benefit from:
