Part Time- On Call Position

We are a drug free workplace.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents
Monitor activities
Access Control
Safety escorts
Using provided communication devices
Represent SSNW’s brand
Properly wear the issued uniform
Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR)
Complete Incident Reports
Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services
Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures.
Other duties as described in the Post Orders
Required Skills/Abilities:
Current Nevada State Armed Security Guard License
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
EMT Background is a plus
Smart phone to access the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting.
Reliable transportation
Honesty and Integrity
Able to work non‑traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays
Ability to react appropriately in high stress situations
Education and Experience:
MINIMUM: 10 years prior Law Enforcement, Public Safety and/or Corrections experience required
Reserve police officers encouraged to apply
Knowledge of security protocols, and equipment
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols
Able to stand 8-12 hours a day
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally)
