Rental Technician Position at Bear CreekThe ideal Rental Technician for Bear Creek is a guest service focused individual with the ability to help create a positive, memorable experience for our guests. The successful team member will be able to work with their team as well as individually, have good communication skills, be detail oriented and foster the Bear Creek culture by focusing on our guests. This position will be an important member of the Rental team providing a safe set up of skis and/or snowboards for our guests in an efficient manner. The right person will work with the guest to ensure that the rental equipment fits properly using the tools provided.What We Expect From You:Properly fit customers with rental equipmentAccurately read binding charts and adjust bindingsProperly attach and adjust snowboard bindingsAbility to explain proper use of skis, snowboards and bindingsPass appropriate binding testsEnter equipment barcodes into the computer accurately and completelyVisually inspect all skis to ensure they are in good working orderCross train in all other areas of the rental operationAlways keep a clean and efficient working environmentKeep all guest areas, inside and outside the rental building cleanProvide world class guest service to all customersPerform duties as efficiently and accurately as possibleAssist with rental returnsBe responsible for Bear Creek toolsWhat We Expect From All BCMR Team Members:Acknowledge all guests and respond promptly to their needs, however busy and whatever time of day. Ensure unresolved incidents are reported to Manager/SupervisorFamiliarity with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accuratelyContribute to the team's success by accomplishing tasks and assisting with projects as neededMaintain knowledge and compliance with departmental policies, service procedures, and standardsWork as a team member to ensure our guests have the best possible experienceUnderstand emergency procedures and be able to apply them when necessaryReport any incidents, property damage or injuries immediately to Manager/SupervisorAttend department meetings and training sessions as necessaryOther duties as assigned by Manager and/or SupervisorSupport Southern Management's Mission, Vision, and ValuesComply with Bear Creek and Southern Management's policies and proceduresQualifications:Must be at least 16 years of ageGuest service experience preferredAvailability during peak operating times, i.e.: weekends, holidays and special eventsJob Knowledge & Skills:Effective communication skillsWork in a fast-paced environmentAble to stand for long periods of timeMust maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
