Build your future at GFS!About the JobGFS Chemicals is seeking a Repack Associate to join our RAC Division at our Powell location. The Repack Associate will assist in packaging, shipment, and order fulfillment for the Optical Standards laboratory. They will bottle various standard solutions, perform quality spot checks, and maintain packaging and shipping documentation. They will ensure accuracy of order fulfillment and inventory. The OSL Repack Associate will assist with preparation of vials and bottles to maintain the quality of finished product. They will participate in the ISO 9001, 17025, 17034 standards and quality management program of GFS.Apply now to learn more about GFS Chemicals. Let's see if we have "Chemistry"!Key ResponsibilitiesFill finished good products from bulk solutionsEnsure accurate fill volume, quantity, batch, label, and shipping information for ordersCarry out all procedures with adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and ISO 17034Review documentation and labels for accuracyAccurately document current inventory, consumption of inventory, and update the supervisor and/or purchasing team of inventory needsProcess fulfillment of orders and shipmentsEngage with other departments to fulfill orders involving multiple product linesCommunicate to supervisor, customer service representatives, sales representatives, and other personnel the order status, inventory quantities, and projected timelines as neededAdhere to all Procedures, Policies, and Guidelines (PPG), item preps, packaging checklists, and specific customer needsEnsure packaging needs are met for each order to maintain the integrity of finished goods through shippingEnsure batches deemed for finished good creation are currently within the time period approved by Quality ControlInput data as necessary into electronic systemsAssist in unique preparations of vials and bottles as is required by particular solutions and customersAdhere and participate in the GFS safety programAssist in proactive problem-solving and improvements to efficiency, quality, and safetyQualifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredCore Skills:Safety consciousAttention to detailGood documentation practicesAbility to read weights and measuresFamiliarity with basic computer programs (e.g. Windows, outlook, internet browsers)Proficient reading and writing skills, including reading small printAbility to follow hazard handling and waste disposal protocolsAbility to work well in teams and aloneAbout GFS ChemicalsGFS Chemicals is a family-owned and operated business based in Columbus, Ohio, serving customers worldwide since 1928.
