Job description
Repair TechThe Repair Tech is responsible for the repair of post frame buildings according to project plans and specifications. Due to the day-to-day contact with customers and co-workers this position is required to work in person on-site.Core Value Expectations:Actively pursue high character, high trust, and high performance personally, corporately, and in all aspects of the position.Provide distinctive quality and unparalleled customer service both internally and externally.Demonstrate and promote integrity, respect, and teamwork.Invite others to help you grow through living authentically with nothing to prove, lose, or hide.Evidence humility by actively receiving teaching and mentoring.Duties and Responsibilities:Regular and predictable attendance; report to work on-timeProvide excellent customer service and reflect our company's core values at all timesGather materials for proper installing of materials at site for repairs.Use miscellaneous power toolsAssemble materials per plans & specificationsRepair current building issues, work on warranty repairs and billable repairs, document all repairs through Company Cam, taking before and after photos.Install roofing, siding & trim as requiredOperate construction equipment as required i.e.: skid steer, scissor lift, etc.Perform other duties as assignedComplies with QSI policies and proceduresRequirements:Education and/or Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredAny combination of job-related experience and/or training which would produce the required knowledge, skills and abilitiesQSI provides on-the-job trainingKnowledge, Abilities and Skills:Ability to perform tasks accurately, effectively and in a timely mannerMust be able to multitask, possess good communications skillsMust be detailed oriented and have the ability to work under time constraintsAbility to interface with customers, sub-contract crews and company personnelAbility to understand and follow oral and written instructions accuratelyAbility to safely perform major job responsibilities with reasonable accommodationsWeight & Lift Requirements:Must be able to lift and carry light equipment and building materials repeatedly.Lifting anything >80lbs requires additional personnel and utilizing a dolly or forklift if possible.
