RESPONSIBILITIES :
* Repairs and calibrate tools, pumps and equipment requiring mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic repair and performs preventive maintenance services.
* Pretesting of hydraulic/pneumatic pumps, tools and links for the sole purpose of proper form, fit and function.
* The job involves trouble-shooting, tearing down, repairing, reassembling and testing pumps, motors and tools in shop.
* Works with sales and service team members, engineers and customers to meet the growing day to day repair requirements.
* Checks tools for safety decals and safe operating features and maintains an accurate schedule and record of maintenance.
* Demonstrates orientation toward excellent customer service by conducting daily activities, communications and interactions in a cooperative, positive and professional manner.
REQUIREMENTS :
* Minimum two (2) years of experience in repairing and maintaining tools and/or equipment.
* Ability to diagnose and successfully repair equipment or tools and plan a logical approach to troubleshooting and prioritizing workload.
* Must have and be able to use own set of basic tools.
* Demonstrated ability to work with hands and to work in mechanically oriented situations.
* Must be a dependable team player with high energy and a strong commitment to quality output.
* Ability to work with little or no supervision.
* Computer proficiency and excellent communication skills.
* Ability to routinely lift 25-75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater lbs.
* Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching and reaching.
* Must be able to wear protective equipment as needed.
* Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
* Must have clean and valid driver's license.
