Job description
Capella Partners is hiring aRequirements Analyst to support the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) for OUSD(P&R) — the system DoD leaders rely on to assess and report military readiness. You’ll turn operational needs into clear requirements that shape how DRRS is sustained and modernized, working shoulder-to-shoulder with government stakeholders, users, and technical teams.
What you’ll do
Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, technical, and reporting requirements.
Lead interviews and working sessions with stakeholders, end users, and technical teams.
Translate readiness needs into user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
Maintain requirements traceability and support backlog refinement, release planning, and change control.
Support functional and user acceptance testing to validate delivered capabilities.
Analyze readiness data to surface trends, risks, and opportunities to improve quality and process.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, systems engineering, data analytics, or a related field.
5+ years in requirements, business, or systems analysis in a DoD or federal environment.
Proven ability to translate complex operational needs into clear requirements for technical teams.
Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, and meeting-facilitation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance and access credentials.
Preferred: DRRS or DoD readiness-reporting experience, Agile/Scrum, or tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
