Carpenter PositionPeel Properties, an owner managed real estate company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team! This role involves working on both commercial and residential projects, handling various phases of carpentry from framing to finishing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and foundational knowledge of building concepts, architectural drawings, and the ability to install door frames and hardware efficiently.ResponsibilitiesPerform framing, drywall installation, drywall finishing, and paintingInterpret and work from architectural drawings and blueprintsInstall and repair door frames, trim, and hardwareEnsure high-quality craftsmanship in all phases of carpentry/construction from planning to building processFollow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environmentCollaborate with team members and contractors to meet project deadlinesQualificationsRequired Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience in commercial and residential carpentryStrong knowledge of building concepts and construction techniquesAbility to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprintsProficiency in installing door frames, trim, and hardwareAttention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving skills and adaptabilityAbility to navigate vendor websitesPreferred Qualifications:Experience level: 10 yearsKnowledge of construction safety regulationsValid driver's license, construction tools, and reliable transportationExperience in additional finishing techniques is a plusBenefits and CompensationCompetitive pay based on experienceHourly rate from $23 – 27/hourHealth, dental, and vision insurance optionsPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for advancement and skill development
