About This Role
As a Research Nurse at the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute, you will assist with the implementation and conduct of human subject research projects, ensuring adherence to research protocol requirements. What You'll Do
Assist with coordinating the implementation and conduct of research projects.
Complete and communicate regulatory documents.
Develop data capture and monitoring plans.
Report serious adverse events as they occur.
Serve as a liaison between investigators and research personnel.
Utilize the nursing process for patient care.
Assess research subjects and document findings.
Establish care plans in collaboration with research subjects and families.
Identify discharge needs and facilitate discharge planning.
Conduct and document the informed consent process.
Requirements
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Experience: 2+ years of clinical experience
Oncology and/or research experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Certification in Human Subjects Research within 90 days of hire
