Job description

Rutgers University is hiring a Research Program Manager (Statewide). The role involves establishing workflows and processes to support clinical research across the Rutgers Oncology service line, supervising research staff, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice and regulatory guidelines, and acting as a liaison between local sites and the Office of Human Research Services.

Highlights

Supervise daily statewide clinical research operations and serve as primary contact for protocol-related requests.

Provide support and conduct performance evaluations for research staff, identifying strengths and improvement areas.

Create a patient-centered environment, collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Perform data abstraction from clinical records, publications, and external physician offices.

Plan and facilitate staff training and in-service meetings to maintain research skills.

Conduct Quality Assurance audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with protocols.

Work collaboratively with clinical and research personnel including nurses, pharmacy, reception, and hospital staff.

Require proficiency with computer applications, including Word, Excel, and Oncore™ clinical trial management system.

Must have a Bachelor's degree in a social science or related field, five years of oncology research experience, and two years of supervisory experience.

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; preferred qualifications include nursing degree, union supervision experience, clinical research certification, and bilingual skills.

Salary range from $105,763 to $161,814 annually, with a full-time 37.5-hour workweek and on-site work arrangement.
