Job description
Reservationist
Transdev in Tinley Park, IL is hiring a Reservationist to intercept customer calls and schedule transportation. We are seeking friendly, customer service-oriented people who are dedicated to safety.
Transdev is proud to offer:
Competitive compensation package of minimum $18.00/hour - Maximum $20.50/hour
Benefits include:
Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
Sick days: 5 days
Holidays: 10 days; 8 standard and 2 floating

Responsibilities:
Professionally answer customer calls and input all customer trip requests utilizing the Trapeze Software system, in accordance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) provisions and company requirements.
Produce efficient and productive schedules through determining if trip is to be scheduled by pick up time or by arrival/appointment time.
Provide accurate responses to callers’ questions about schedules, trips and other questions using information made available to the agent
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required.
Strong written and oral communication skills
Clear speech and pleasant phone demeanor
Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs
Knowledge of Trapeze Software and Genesys phone system is a plus
Subject to drug testing.
Physical Requirements:
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day)
Push and pull objects up to 25 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
