Residence ManagerWe are seeking a strong, hands-on leader to oversee the daily operations of a residential program supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. The Residence Manager will be responsible for driving a high standard of care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading a team to deliver person-centered services in alignment with OPWDD guidelines.This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates sound judgment, and is committed to both operational excellence and staff development.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct supervision, leadership, and accountability for residential staff, including scheduling, training, and performance managementEnsure a consistently safe, structured, and supportive environment for all residentsPartner with the interdisciplinary team to implement and monitor individualized service plansOversee all aspects of residence operations, including staffing, maintenance, and household managementRespond effectively to crises, incidents, and behavioral challenges, utilizing approved OPWDD strategiesMaintain full compliance with OPWDD regulations, agency policies, and quality standardsCoordinate medical care and ensure follow-through on all health-related needsEnsure timely, accurate documentation and reportingPromote resident independence through active engagement in daily living activities and community integrationManage inventory, supplies, and overall household functionalityMaintains petty cash records and records all purchasesEmployees may be mandated to work beyond their scheduled shift based on operational needs.Orientation and training will be conducted at the agency Headquarters in Middletown.Performs related duties as requestedQualificationsRequired: Demonstrated experience working within OPWDD regulations and residential settingsMinimum of 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience, preferably in human servicesHigh School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferredValid New York State Driver's License in good standingProven ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and make sound decisions under pressureStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to read, write, speak and understand EnglishMust be able to maintain the strictest confidentialityGood interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with coworkers, employees, residents and their families.All Residence Managers must be approved Medication Administration Personnel (AMAP) at time of hire or will be completely trained and certified by the agency within the first six months of employment.Schedule & ExpectationsFull-time positionThis role requires flexibility, including mandated shifts and 24/7 on-call availability as needed to support program operationsWhy Join UsOpportunity for career growth and advancement within the organizationLeadership role with meaningful impact on residents' quality of lifeCollaborative and mission-driven work environmentHourly Rate $24.44
