In this role, you will support daily care, provide leadership on your shift, and foster a collaborative, person-centered care environment. Your ability to guide, mentor, and support your team will make a lasting impact on both staff and residents.As a Resident Assistant Lead, you will:Provide Direct Resident Care – Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, mobility, meals, and restorative care while maintaining dignity and respect.Mentor and Support Team Members – Train, guide, and coach new and existing staff, promoting a positive and engaged work environment.Act as a Shift Lead – Serve as the primary point of contact during shifts, triaging staff and resident needs, ensuring communication flow, and collaborating with clinical teams.Ensure Quality and Compliance – Maintain documentation, follow established best practices, and ensure care protocols align with resident preferences and regulatory standards.Promote a Positive Culture – Lead by example, foster teamwork, and create an environment where both residents and team members feel supported and valued.Other Duties as Assigned – The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.This job also requires:Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Minnesota preferred (may be required for some levels of assisted living).Experience in resident care, mentoring, or leadership roles preferred.Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with a diverse team.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to pass state mandated background check.Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with residents, families, and staff.Additional Details:Employment Type: Hourly, non-exemptDepartment: NursingLeadership Received: Director of Nursing or Clinical CareDivision: (Specify the department or operational division)Travel Requirements: NoThis role does not include supervisory responsibilities.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
