Caregiver/Unit AidesRA/HHA/DSP/Caregiver/Unit Aides ***FREE PAID CNA TRAINING***Qualifications:Must be able to commit to fulltime hoursMust have up-to-date MMR vaccination & physicalMust pass a background check, which may require fingerprintingPreferred: 1 year of customer service or healthcare skillsCompassion: Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to improve patients' lives.Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.Physical Stamina: Physical fitness and endurance to perform tasks that involve standing, lifting, and assisting patients.Adaptability: Flexibility to work in different healthcare settings, such as hospitals, nursing homes, and home care.Responsibilities:Make rounds on the unit looking for items needing attentionStraightening utility rooms, linen rooms, and pantries as neededAssist with meal serviceComplete the Paid Feeding Assistant Program and work under the supervision of a nurse to feed or assist residents who do not have complicated feeding restrictionsDeliver mail to residents; opening and reading mail to residents as requestedMaking resident beds and keeping rooms tidyPass clean linenAssure ice water is available on unitsPrepares rooms for new admissionsTakes inventory of resident’s possessions and sends items to personal laundry to be labeled
