Job description

Description

270 Hennepin and The Rafter Apartments | Minneapolis, MN | Full-time, on-site

$24 - $26 per hour | Tuesday through Saturday, 8am - 5pm

Roundhouse is hiring a Resident Experience Associate to lead resident relations and community engagement across two downtown Minneapolis apartment communities. You'll plan resident events, resolve concerns, and help residents feel informed and at home as the communities transition to Roundhouse management. The role includes a zero-cost employee medical plan, a 401(k) match, and an employee housing discount.

People are your superpower.

You remember names, read a room, and know how to turn a frustrated resident into a loyal one. You plan events people actually show up to, follow through on every concern, and bring a warmth and professionalism residents notice and remember.

What you'll own

Build relationships with residents through consistent, in-person engagement, and learn what matters to them

Serve as a primary point of contact for resident questions, concerns, and feedback, turning complaints into resolved outcomes

Plan and run a calendar of resident events and experiences, about five per month across both communities

Help residents feel informed, supported, and excited as the communities transition to Roundhouse

Support clear, proactive, on-brand resident communication across multiple channels

Partner with the onsite and marketing teams to improve communication quality and consistency

Gather resident feedback, spot trends and recurring concerns, and recommend improvements

Support initiatives that improve satisfaction, retention, and the overall community experience

Stay visible throughout the property, anticipating resident needs rather than waiting for them to come to us

Handle sensitive resident situations with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment, and help keep the community clean and welcoming

What you bring

1 to 3 years of leasing, property management, or resident services experience in high-rise or urban multifamily communities

A hospitality mindset and a natural drive to create connection

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

High emotional intelligence and professionalism

The ability to stay composed in high-pressure or sensitive situations

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

A self-starter who takes initiative and follows through

Pay and benefits

$24 - $26 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications

Medical (including a zero-cost employee plan), dental, and vision

401(k) with employer match

Paid time off plus 9 paid holidays

Paid maternity and parental leave

Employee housing discount

Company-paid life insurance, plus short- and long-term disability options

Mental wellness program and Perks at Work discounts

Professional development support, peer recognition, and years-of-service awards
