Residential Direct Support ProfessionalThe Residential Direct Support Professional is a support position responsible for providing training, advocacy and support services to adult individuals with disabilities in their homes and to assist residents with development and management of basic living and social skills. Provide assistance to On-Site Manager with medication record keeping; daily job/staff/resident assignment logs and other administrative tasks as required. Responsible for management of resident's laundry to include washing/drying/folding and cleaning and maintenance of interior and exterior of residence.Primary Responsibilities:Assist adult residents with their daily living tasks to include: cooking, cleaning, bathing, etc. and help them to integrate into the community to the best of their abilityTransport residents to and from home to medical appointments and activitiesImplementation of resident's ISP and IPP goals and modeling and teaching appropriate living skillsCrisis management and behavioral interventions as necessaryMinimum Qualifications:At least 21 years of agePossess a High School DiplomaAbility to meet Community Care Licensing requirements to include: (1) physical examination (2) TB test (3) DOJ and FBI criminal record clearanceA valid California driver's license, personal vehicle insurance coverage, and a clean driving recordMinimum two years experience in a residential home environment and /or supervision of individuals with developmental disabilities in a work activity or day programAbility to work well with a diverse population of clients, families, and staffWork Schedule: Full-time
