RollShield LLC Clearwater, FL
Full-Time $60-75K per year, based on experience
RollShield LLC is seeking a dependable Residential Electrical Installer to support the installation of motorized hurricane shutters, sunrooms, and related home-improvement products throughout the Tampa Bay area.
This is a hands-on field position for someone with residential or construction electrical experience who is comfortable working with wiring, motors, switches, controls, and electrical troubleshooting.
Experience with motorized hurricane shutters is a plus, but we are willing to consider candidates with transferable residential or construction electrical experience .
What You'll Do
Complete electrical installations for motorized roll-down hurricane shutters
Provide power to shutter motors and related systems
Install switches, controls, wiring, and electrical components
Install raceways and route wiring as needed
Troubleshoot motors, switches, controls, and electrical issues
Work closely with RollShield installation crews on residential projects
Assist with electrical work related to sunrooms and other installed products
Fish wire through walls and finished spaces when necessary
Perform minor drywall patching when required
Follow company safety procedures and applicable electrical standards
Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service at customer homes
What We're Looking For
2+ years of residential, construction, or electrical installation experience preferred
Experience with electrical wiring, motors, switches, and controls
Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical and motor-control issues
Familiarity with common electrical tools and equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
Comfortable working in residential and construction environments
Ability to work independently and as part of an installation team
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Reliable transportation
Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following is especially helpful:
Motorized hurricane shutters
Impact window and door installation
Residential electrical work
Low-voltage or motor controls
Garage-door or gate systems
HVAC electrical
Construction electrical
Home automation or motorized products
Journeyman experience or licensing is a plus, but not required for candidates with relevant hands-on experience.
