Job Type: Full-Time (Non-Exempt / Hourly)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Overtime as needed)
Locations: Greater Pittsburgh, PA and Morgantown, WV areas
Start Date: Immediate
Position Summary: We are seeking qualified Electricians and Electrician’s Helpers for new residential home construction (single-family homes, townhomes, and condominiums). Candidates will complete field installations across all project phases—from rough-in wiring to final trim, troubleshooting, and warranty repairs. Pay is competitive and will depend on your experience and will be discussed during the interview.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, control systems, and lighting fixtures.
Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate devices.
Inspect electrical components, including transformers and circuit breakers.
Perform quality control testing and troubleshoot electrical issues using proper diagnostic tools.
Ensure all installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) as well as state and local building regulations.
Perform warranty repair work and general electrical maintenance as needed.
Work collaboratively with company management, team members, and other trade personnel on-site.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrician or Electrician’s Helper (new residential construction preferred).
Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and blueprint reading.
Tools & Transport: Must possess basic hand tools and reliable transportation to/from job sites.
Licensing & Authorization: Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the United States.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, stretch, pull, push, and work in crawl spaces or from ladders, extension ladders, and scaffolding.
Key Traits: Strong attention to detail, solid analytical and decision-making skills, self-motivated, and respectful team player.
Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with random drug screens.
