Job description
Merry Maids Team Member
Merry Maids is a professional housecleaning company that provides trusted cleaning services and strong customer service to our clients. As in-home professionals, we build relationships with our clients and help make their homes cleaner, healthier, and more comfortable. At Merry Maids of Sunnyvale, we are looking for dependable team members who take pride in their work, communicate well, and want to be part of a positive team environment.
As a Merry Maids team member, you will professionally clean customer homes using Merry Maids' cleaning procedures, products, and equipment. You will work as part of a team to provide consistent, high-quality cleaning and excellent customer service. This is an active, hands-on job. The right person will be dependable, on time, respectful with customers and coworkers, and able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Applicants must be able to communicate clearly with customers, team members, and the office. Spanish is helpful and strongly welcomed, but English communication is preferred for this position because team members may need to speak directly with customers, understand service notes, report issues, and follow job instructions. Spanish speakers are still encouraged to apply. Applicants must also have a valid driver's license and be able to drive to and from customer homes as needed. Access to a reliable personal vehicle is strongly preferred. Company vehicles may be available at times, but are limited. If a personal vehicle is used for approved work travel, mileage reimbursement will be provided in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
This position requires regular physical activity throughout the day. Team members must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds of equipment, load and unload supplies from vehicles, climb stairs, bend, kneel, reach, stoop, vacuum, mop, and clean bathrooms, kitchens, floors, showers, tubs, and other areas of the home. Team members may clean several homes in one day. Team members must also be comfortable working around common household conditions, including dog and cat hair, dust, mildew, mold, and cleaning solutions.
If you are dependable, hardworking, friendly, and ready to be part of a professional cleaning team, we would love to hear from you. Apply today to join Merry Maids of Sunnyvale.
