Job DescriptionApplicant must have a valid driver‘s license (not a permit).
If foreign born, applicant must have held a United States driver‘s license for a minimum of three (3) years.
Reliable transportation is required.
Applicant must successfully complete a criminal background check, driving record check, and drug screening.
Douglas & Son Services is a family-owned and operated plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and gas fitting company serving Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia. We are seeking hardworking, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our growing team.
We are currently seeking an individual with the desire to learn the plumbing trade while assisting with yard and warehouse work.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist with water heater installations, drain cleaning, and other plumbing tasks
Pull job materials and help load service trucks
Perform basic yard work including mowing, weeding, mulching, edging, and general landscaping maintenance
Assist with other projects and tasks as needed around our properties and job sites
Training & Career Opportunity

Important Job Expectations
This is physically demanding work and is not a light-duty position . Employees should expect to work outdoors in all weather conditions as well as customer‘s homes, perform strenuous physical labor, lift and carry heavy materials, dig and work in confined spaces, and spend long hours on their feet. The work is challenging and requires a strong work ethic, reliability, and determination.
