Our DSPs play a vital role in supporting individuals in a safe, inclusive, and welcoming home environment.As a Residential DSP, you'll work as part of a supportive team helping individuals with daily routines, personal goals, and community involvement. Responsibilities include:Assisting with daily living skills and personal careSupporting meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeepingAdministering medications (paid training provided)Providing transportation to appointments and community activitiesCompleting documentation accurately and timelyPromoting independence, dignity, and inclusionEnsuring the health, safety, and well-being of residentsOur residential program operates 24/7, and PRN staff help cover:Call-outsVacationsOpen shiftsEmergency staffing needsYou can indicate your availability during the application process. PRN Requirement: To maintain active PRN status, employees must work a minimum of 4 shifts during each 6-week scheduling period.$19.68/hour starting rate, additional $2.00/hour weekend differential, 403(b) retirement plan available immediately upon hire, Employee Assistance & Wellness Programs, Credit Union membership opportunity, paid training and certifications, meaningful work with a supportive team environment.Requirements:Must be at least 18 years oldHigh school diploma or GED requiredValid U.S. driver's license that has never been suspended or revokedClean driving record, criminal background, and drug screen requiredBasic computer and keyboarding skillsAbility to complete required trainings including CPR, First Aid, and Med Tech CertificationMinimum of 1 year experience supporting individuals with disabilities preferredThis position requires the ability to:Assist with a variety of personal care needsLift and assist individuals with mobility needsFrequently stand, bend, push, pull, and reposition individualsSafely assist with transfers and wheelchair securementUse lifts and mobility equipment including Hoyer liftsIf you are reliable, compassionate, and looking for flexible work with purpose, apply today to become a PRN Direct Support Professional with The Arc Carroll County!
