About the Sacramento T-STRTP
The Sacramento T-STRTP (Transitional-Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program) serves children and youth ages 11-17 in a supportive, strength-based, culturally competent, youth-centered, family-driven, trauma-informed, family-like environment. The program provides short-term, individualized treatment designed to help children and youth stabilize at-risk behaviors that may interfere with permanency, with the goal of reducing re-entry into STRTP or higher levels of care. Through partnership with youth, caregivers, and other natural supports, Sacramento T-STRTP offers a space for healing, stability, and skill-building so youth can successfully transition back to a more permanent setting.
