Residential Remodeling Designer – Design-Build
nKirkwood, MO
nReports To:Design Manager
nJob Purpose:Collaborate with the client through the planning process, develop unique, innovative remodeling solutions, and prepare clear, accurate documentation for Production.
nKey Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
nnnMeet with clients to assess their needs, preferences, and investment levels
n
nnDevelop creative design concepts and detailed work scopes that align with client goals
n
nnDocument existing site conditions accurately
n
nnCollaborate with Estimators, Architects, Mosby Sales Consultants, and Project Managers to ensure project success
n
nnPresent and assist Sales Consultants in selling Design and Construction Agreements
n
nnProvide superior customer service and build long-term client relationships
n
nnParticipate in seminars, webinars, and other company events as requested
n
n nMinimum Requirements:
nnnBachelor’s Degree or equivalent education in Interior Design or Architecture
n
nn5+ years of experience in Residential Design preferred
n
nnMinimum of 3 years working one-on-one with clients to determine their design needs, budget, material selections, and executing sales contracts
n
nnProficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and CAD Programs (Chief Architect program is a plus)
n
nnExcellent organization, communication, and time management skills
n
nnStrong attention to detail
n
nnAbility to successfully manage multiple projects at a time
n
nnPerform duties in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner
n
nnPrior working relationships with vendors and subcontractors is a plus
n
nnHave & maintain clean, reliable transportation to use for client appointments around the St. Louis & Southern Illinois area
n
nnAbility to work nights and weekends if needed
n
nnPhysically able to sit and stand for long periods of time & carry/move up to 50lbs.
