Residential Security AgentThe Residential Security Team (RST) Agent provides critical support to a protective security detail in San Francisco, CA. This role operates in a dynamic, multi-faceted, and fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, ambitious, and adaptable, capable of maintaining professionalism in a high-tempo setting.Duties for this detail include, but are not limited to:Ensure the overall safety and security of designated principals and their properties.Maintain a knowledge of baseline principal, property and neighborhood activitiesMonitor property and area activities and conditions via closed-circuit television camera system and physical perimeter checksMonitor traditional and social media for potential threatsControlling access to properties and maintenance of security logs for guests, service personnel, and vendors.Screen and track mail and deliveriesMonitor the following:Weather and natural disastersTrafficPublic safety incidents and trendsNeighborhood watch programsLocal and national current eventsCoordinate with site staff to accomplish common tasksComplete daily household tasks and maintenance as requested by principalsEnsures 24/7 operational readiness through stocking supplies and equipment upkeepOperate within parameters established by standard operating procedures and applicable lawsCoordinate with and support executive protection element of the teamOpportunities for driving and special off-site assignments/details.Demonstrate proficiency in use and proper maintenance for all equipment (i.e., vehicles, medical supplies, communications devices, etc.)Potential local travel approximately 5%-10% of the time to other RST sites or principal destinations.Must be flexible and open to working overtime shifts whether they are night or day shift, coming in early and staying late if needed.Must possess the ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment.Must be able to stay vigilant sitting in a vehicle or security office for extended periods of time.Must be a proactive problem solver with the capability to work independently and as part of a team.Must possess a good understanding of the latest technology in security camera systems, use of smartphones, communications, and collaboration apps (Google Drive, Word, Excel & Power Point).Must be dog friendly.Must keep a professional appearance, have good personal hygieneMust be responsive via phone call, text and email as needed to support the team.Excellent communicator with the ability to be personable, successfully interact with clients, superiors, peers, vendors and neighborsPosition Qualifications, Certificates and Licenses:2-4+ years of combined experience in relevant security, military, and/or law enforcement positionsPhysically fit to facilitate emergency responsesValid Driver's License with clean driving recordAmerican Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED for Adult, Child & Infant certificationCalifornia BSIS Guard Card*All certifications must be current. Employees are responsible for keeping all certifications/licenses activePhysical Requirements:Ability to patrol the property and access areas quicklyPhysically able to capture and detain individuals if necessaryProlonged periods sitting of 5+ hours at a desk and monitoring surveillance equipmentProlonged periods of standing on your feet without a break 4-5+ hoursMust be able to lift 50 pounds at a timeMust be able to lift, drag a human up to 200lbs or more, if necessaryMust be able to bend, twist, stoop, crawlBeing able to respond to physical attacks, natural disasters, evacuationsRequired Skills and Experience:Excels working in a team environmentExceptional emotional intelligenceStrong customer service skillsStrong situational awareness and attention to detailAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks frequently and for long durationsHigh proficiency with firearmsExcellent critical thinking and sound judgementFriendly, approachable and professional demeanorHigh moral and ethical characterPreferred Education and Experience:Bilingual (Spanish, American Sign Language, etc.)Prior residential and/or fixed site security experience serving a single primary client at their homeProficient in the use of social media collection tools in support of protective intelligenceTraining in defensive tactics, counter surveillance/surveillance detection, covert protection and basic medical support experience.Prior training course(s) in residential security or executive protectionPrior attendance of a recognized EP school (i.e., ESI, EPI, Oatman, PFC, ITG4, TFTT)Advanced emergency medical certification – Active First Responder, EMT or paramedicCustomer service experienceExperience working with childrenRegularly active in outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking, ocean sports, etc.Detail Structure: Full-time position on a 24/7 detail working the following:Day and night shiftsRotating 3 days on/four days off, four days on/three days offWeekendsHolidaysOvertime/additional shifts as neededDomestic/local travel (if desired by the principal/s)Quarterly sustainment training - firearms, defensive tactics, medical, drivingSalary and Benefits:Minimum compensation of $110,000 per yearPay structure per shift includes built-in overtime and double-time in accordance with California and federal lawsPaid sick leavePaid time off (PTO) accrualHoliday pay for select holidays you work (6)Company 401(k) with employer matchFlexible insurance plans - Medical, dental and vision100% of employee premium paid for by Keelson (plan upgradable for additional employee paid premium)Generous employer contribution per family member (up to 4 family members) to help lower employee contributions for dependents that join the planLife InsuranceLong Term DisabilityShort Term DisabilityCritical Accident/Illness coverageEmployment with Keelson is at-will, meaning that you or Keelson may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
