The Global Security team helps create a safe environment so that all of our team members around the world are empowered to do their best work, every day.We're looking for a Residential Security Officer to join our Executive Protection team!What you'll do:Monitor a variety of security measures to help ensure safety at a private family residence.Working closely with the Protective Services team, you'll work daily with family members, corporate executives, and other colleagues both in business and social environments to provide outstanding security protection.Perform access control and ensure security procedures are completedUndertake patrols and inspections in accordance with proceduresMonitor Snap's CCTV systemEnsure that unauthorized people are not permitted in prohibited areasMaintain an accurate record of any incidents that occurHandle ad hoc duties as the need arisesAddress any security breaches within set protocolsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:A strong proven understanding of security operations and proceduresResidential security experience preferredKnowledge and familiarity with computers and security equipmentAbility to work comfortably in a team environment, as well as individuallyThe flexibility to work any assigned shiftAbility to think and respond to a dynamic environmentAbility to stay on your feet for several hours without a breakAbility to provide protective coverage during physically taxing activities (running, jumping, crawling, bending, lifting, etc.)Ability to walk up to 5 miles during a shiftComfortable working in a family-friendly environmentLifeguard and basic medical / first-aid background preferredSuperb written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to interact and communicate effectively and seamlessly with family members, corporate executives, and senior colleagues in business and social environmentsMinimum Qualifications:3+ years experience in the military, law enforcement, or a public/private sector security organization or equivalent years of experienceA valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicleMust be able to pass a background and driving record checkValid BSIS Guard CardValid BSIS Firearms PermitPreferred Qualifications:BS/BA or equivalent years of experiencePrevious Residential Security experiencePassion for Snap Inc and its products!If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please don't be shy and provide us some information.At Snap, we believe that having a team of diverse backgrounds and voices working together will enable us to create innovative products that improve the way people live and communicate. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): The base hourly range for this position is $31.73-$47.11 hourly.Zone B: The base hourly range for this position is $30.28-$44.71 hourly.Zone C: The base hourly range for this position is $26.92-$39.9 hourly. This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
