What You'll Do
As a Residential Specialist , you will:
Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and meal preparation.
Support daily living skills, independence, and participation in individualized goals and support plans.
Help individuals participate in community activities, appointments, social events, and meaningful experiences.
Promote dignity, respect, person-centered care, and a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.

Qualifications
Required:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid Driver's License
High School Diploma or GED required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide hands-on support and physical assistance when needed
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
Experience in caregiving, healthcare, human services, education, psychology, nursing, social work, or a related field

Schedule
Full-Time
Flexible scheduling based on program needs
Weekend and holiday hours may be required
Additional shifts may be available based on staffing needs
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist individuals as needed
Ability to provide physical assistance and support when required
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
